Magnetic Separator

Inline Magnetic Separator and Cross Belt Magnetic Separator are self-cleaning magnetic separators that consists of a electromagnet with a moving belt conveyor around it. Functionally it is the same as the suspension magnet except in this case the tramp iron/ ferrous particles are separated and simultaneously knocked off from the magnet and the conveyor line. Hence it is generally called the Self Cleaning Magnet.

No man power is required during the operation of the magnet and after the magnet has been operated. This magnet can be floor mounted or suspended as per the requirements of the client.

Electro Magnetic Pulley is used in the Belt Conveyor as a Magnetic Head Pulley of the conveyor system at discharge end. This equipment ensures separation of ferrous material particularly from the bottom of the process material moving over the belt conveyor. Separation of Iron particles in this case will be very efficient as the Belt conveyor system gets flattened/opened when it comes near the pulley enabling the process material to get distributed all over the face of the pulley.

Magnetic drum machines are used for removal of iron impurities from chemicals, food materials, ceramics, silica, quartz, glass chips and glass raw materials or any plant where conveyor belt is not available. This is a self contained unit. Any material fed to the hopper move down through a vibratory feeder with controlled feed rate. The material is fed to the Rotating Magnetic Drum with single, double or multiple stages. The magnetic drum produces a strong field at the front half of its circumference. In the process, the material free of iron particles will be collected at the front portion of the machine with natural fall. Tramp iron falls behind the drum as the other half of the drum is non magnetic.

Permanent Magnetic Separators are used for separating tramp iron particles from any type of moving product material over conveyor belt, vibratory feeder, and chute or falling trajectory. We recommend using permanent magnetic separator for Operating Height below 250 mm only. Permanent magnetic separators do not have to be powered and is long lasting. They are constructed using ferrite and rare earth magnetic materials.
